Caitlyn Yu is a Taiwanese-American actor, playwright and director based in LA & NYC. When she was eight, she started her artistic journey at South Coast Repertory's Youth Conservatory, where she trained for ten years. There, Caitlyn had the unique opportunity to act in the world premiere of the play Coleman '72 by Charlie Oh, which fueled her passion for creating and performing in new works.​ ​

 

After completing her primary training at Playwrights Horizons Theater School, Caitlyn will be continuing her artistic development at Atlantic Acting Studio. She also briefly studied playwriting and TV writing in the Rita & Burton Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing. ​

 

In her free time, Caitlyn loves reading classic novels, blasting Clairo in her mini cooper, and documenting everything with her film camera.
